Car Services Reminder ("the App") is a simple mobile application that helps you track vehicle maintenance and service intervals. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how that information is used, and your choices.

Data Collected and Stored

• Local data: All user data (vehicles, service intervals, service records, and app settings) is stored locally on your device using the browser/localStorage mechanism. The App does not send or store this data on any server by default.
• Device permissions: The App may request permission to send notifications to remind you about services. Notification permission is handled by your device and can be revoked in system settings.

Third‑Party Services

The App displays ads using Google AdMob. AdMob and other advertising partners may collect non-identifying information for ad serving and personalization according to their own privacy policies. The App itself does not collect analytics data.

How We Use Your Data

• All user data stored in localStorage is used solely to provide the App’s functionality (show vehicles, calculate upcoming services, schedule reminders).
• We do not use your personal data for marketing, we do not send marketing emails, and the App does not require account creation or sign‑in.

Data Retention & Deletion

Because your data is stored locally only, you control retention. To delete all App data, you can:

1. Use any built-in "Clear data" or "Reset" option in the App (if present).
2. Uninstall the App from your device (this typically removes app storage).
3. On Android, go to Settings → Apps → Car Services Reminder → Storage → Clear data.

GDPR / CCPA

The App does not collect, transmit, or share personal data with any third parties. All user data (vehicles, service intervals, service records, and app settings) is stored only on your device using localStorage and is not uploaded to any server by the App.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or California and wish to exercise rights such as access, correction, deletion, or data portability, please contact us at oussema.trichi.96@gmail.com. Because data is stored locally on your device, the fastest way to delete your data is to remove it from the device following the local deletion steps above; we will assist with legitimate requests where possible.

Children

The App is not intended for children under 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect local data. However, because data is stored on your device, you should protect access to your device and backups. The App cannot control device-level security or backups made by the device or cloud services.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the Effective date at the top of this page.
